In 2011 and 2012, I wrote satirical country music news for, "The Chevy Top 20 Countdown," a show on Country Music Television Canada. It was kind of like Weekend Update with a twang. Clips are hard to come by, so here's a joke I wrote for the show:

Singer Randy Travis was arrested last week for public intoxication. Travis was parked outside a church in his underwear with an open bottle of wine in the front seat of his pickup when police found him. On the plus side, his new single, "Parked Outside A Church In My Underwear With An Open Bottle of Wine In The Front Seat," is expected to be a big hit.

I also helped write and produce one-off shows for CMT and Corus Entertainment featuring interviews with and performances by: Taylor Swift, One Direction, Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood and more.

In 2012/13, I worked as an Associate Producer for George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, an evening talk show on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). I did research and wrote guests bios, packets, scripts and interview questions. I also came up with segment ideas, sourced clips, and pre-interviewed guests. After tapings, I worked with video editors to produce segments for air.

A few of the guests I worked on:

Oprah Winfrey

Daniel Radcliffe

Steven Van Zandt

Janeane Garofalo

Fred Penner

Here's a clip from a segment I wrote and produced that features legendary Canadian children's entertainer Fred Penner. It's about how grown ups can find their happy place. I hope you do.
